  The center has gone through some big changes. Yes some teachers and staff have left. This left the center short handed some days and different ways of doing things. But out of change comes growth. There is a new director. She has shook things up. But she loves the kids. She knows them by name. She goes into the rooms and helps out the teachers. She goes out on the playground with the teachers and students. She has worked with parents that have had money troubles. My grandchild loves going to school. She has been there for 2 years. She loves her new teacher and they care for her. They greet her with hugs calling her by name. They keep us informed with things coming up. They keep the rooms cleaned and aired out. The children are taken outside everyday that it is not raining or so cold that it isn't safe to be out. Teachers are in the floor reading to the children and sitting with them at for crafts and with meal times. Very grateful that we have this center is here in Black Mtn.
